A photograph print, Orange Avenue, at Santa Anita Ranch, San Gabriel, Cal, ca. 1870s. A man and woman stand on a dirt road surrounded by an orange grove that belonged to Elias J. Baldwin. Baldwin's ranch boasted a vineyard, orchard as well as a race track. Further down the dirt road are two carriages and horses on opposite ends of the road. The photograph is thin and appears to be an unmounted image of a cabinet card. It is in good condition overall, despite the moderate yellowing of the image, light creases, and pencil inscription on reverse side, upper left corner.
