Description
A photograph, view of oil wells, Los Angeles, ca. 1900. The image is mounted on grey album paper. There are oil derricks or wells in operation in the middle of an oil field. The photograph is blurred at the edges, possibly due to errors during the developing process. A paper label with an ink inscription was adhered to the bottom edge of the album paper. The label is torn and detached from the album sheet and there is moderate fading. The object is in fair condition.
