A celluloid pin from the Great American Foot Race, 1928. The items have a portrait of competitor William Morady, showing him in a tank top with the number "167" on it. Morady, a native of Pittsburgh, competed for the New Jersey squad in the race featuring nearly 200 athletes going from New York to Los Angeles in commemoration of the completion of U. S. Route 66. Each item is rusty, has scratches and some fading, so the overall condition is fair.
