A pin, "Welcome Home Heroes of the Argonne," California, ca. 1918. The pin has the American and California flags, the numbers of the 363rd and 347th regiments of the American Expeditionary Force, and the phrase "Welcome Home Heroes of the Argonne," this latter referring to the decisive Meuse-Argonne offensive. A blue, white and red ribbon hangs from the pin and is attached to the reverse inside of the pin. With soiling, fading and warping of the ribbon and light scratches to the pin face, the overall condition is good.
