Description

A plate glass negative panorama of downtown Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. Many commercial buildings are within view, including some with signage to identify them, such as Hans Jevne's store, the Paris Store, the Los Angeles Trust and Savings Bank. The Sing Fat store front is visible at the bottom, far left of the image. Lung Yep was the vice president and manager of the Sing Fat Co. store which sold both Chinese and Japanese goods. Lung was not only a successful business owner but most notably, the first Chinese officer for the LAPD. The number 500 is etched in at one corner. The condition appears to be good.
