Description
A portion of a stereoscopic photo of an elevated view of a residence and yard, ca. 1870s. The image appears to have been taken at an elevated vantage point. There are various trees, shrubbery, and a young boy standing toward the middle, right edge. A wooden wash basin is in front of the boy. At the bottom right is a portion of a peaked, shingle roof and down further is a wooden picket fence. The background reveals a rural area with numerous trees and a low valley. The image is torn in half with its right side missing, moderate fading, creasing, accretions, soiling. It is in fair condition.
