Description

A photo showing a portion of the Hollywoodland tract, Los Angeles, ca. 1924. The view is taken from a hill and captures a windwing street with some roadside lamps, most of the front facade of a newly-completed Spanish Colonial Revival home, and a corner of another home, with a car parked nearby, atop the hill. For the Spanish Colonial home, there is what appears to be a temporary conveyance for water coming from the ridge above. With part of the photo torn away at the top and other tears and small missing portions at the bottom, as well as soiling and creases, the condition is poor.
