A portrait of a young man, Charles Beal, Los Angeles, ca. 1895. The view is an upper torso and head shot and the man has on a suit with a black jacket, white, high-collar shirt and white bow tie. There is a pencil inscription at the top of the reverse but the card was trimmed, so only part of the date "July 22, 9-" and what may be a name are visible. With some soiling and edge rubbing, the condition is good overall.
