Description

A postal card for ordering beer from the Maier and Zobelein brewery, 7 February 1903. The card has a preprinted order form on one side with the date, preferred shipping date, name of ordering party, and areas for specifying quantities and types of keg and bottled beer. The town of Puente and date are at the date line and the name as the initials "E.R.," probably Emile Rambaud, a Puente merchant. On the front is a preprinted one-cent stamp and the address for the brewery. With browning from a paper item that was pressed against the ordering side, soiling and rubbing, the overall condition is good.
