Description
A postal card receipt from Farmers and Merchants Bank, Los Angeles, 24 February 1890. The card shows a credit to the account of J. W. Bixby and Company of Long Beach and has the printed name of bank president, Isaias W. Hellman, as well as shows the capital and surplus of the institution. There are also postmarks on the card, which has some small ink stains, light soiling and moderate rubbing and is in good overall condition.
