Description

A postcard advertising sales of the Sierra Madre Canyon Park subdivision, Sierra Madre, California, postmarked 14 August 1913. The image is a photo of a cabin hidden partially by trees among a heavily wooded setting. Printed information on the reverse describes the tract, which was created from the former Carter's Camp resort and which offered telephones, lights, water, tennis courts, a club house, and other amenities. This area is still known as Sierra Madre Canyon today. With moisture stains on the reverse, soiling and abrasions along the edges, the overall condition is fair.
