A postcard for the Southwest Museum, Los Angeles, postmarked 3 December 1916. The front has a photograph of the newly-completed Mission Revival-style structure atop a hill in Highland Park, while at the bottom is presumably Figueroa Street on which there is a car and surrounding the road are trees and other landscape. There is a description of the institution, which opened in Fall 1914. The postally used card has a message unrelated to the museum and has dented corners, some creasing and very light soiling, so is in good overall condition.
