A postcard from Frank Wiggin in Los Angeles, California to Grover T. Russell in Los Angeles, California. 8 April 1914.
A postcard requesting the opinion of members of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. A committee was appointed by the Board relating to the Power Bond Issue. After examining the facts, they unanimously reported in favor of supporting a bond to complete power plant and build or acquire distributing system. The postcard asks that the recipient mark and mail the attached card, stating if they approve or disapprove of the actions of the Board.
The back has a green, 1 cent stamp printed in the top right corner. There is a postmark of April 8th from Los Angeles, at 9:30 pm. Also, part of the postmark is an advertisement for the World's Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco in 1915.
The bottom has tear damage from then the response card was detached, there is also abrasion damage on all edges front and back. This object is in fair condition overall.
