Description
A postcard from Geo W. Williams in Berkeley, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 28 June 1916. Mr. Williams states that he would like to sell his 2.5 acre orange grove with a farm and a 7 room house near Ontario High School. Mr. Williams is willing to deduct $1,000 from his $3,500 equity. For the remaining $2,500 of his equity, Mr. Williams wants a clear lot in Los Angeles and $1,700 cash. Mr. Williams asks for Mr. Hart to try and work out a satisfactory proposition if he is interested. Three stamps are present on the back side of the document including a 1 cent Jefferson stamp. With ink stains, early signs of foxing, and early signs of silverfish damage, the object is in good condition overall.
