Description
A postcard from N.D. Strep to Grover T. Russell in Los Angeles, California. 26 April 1915. Mr. Strep is inquiring to see if Mr. Russell would like to accept his equity of $1100 in his bungalow as part of a payment for 3.72 acres in the Whittier-Foothill section. Mr. Russell previously advertised the land in Whittier News for $500 per acre. Mr. Strep may also be willing to trade 20 acres of land in Houston, Texas for the 3.72 acres at Whittier-Foothill. Three stamps are present on the back of the document including a one cent Jefferson stamp. Ink from the stamps has bled onto the front side. With some creasing and wear on the front-left side and a handwritten calculation on the back side, the object is in good condition overall.
