A postcard from T.J. Poor to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 19 February 1914.
A postcard advertising Tompkins and Company. The postcard has a written request for a descriptive circular of Whittier Heights. The top the address and company information. It reads "The West Coast Seed House - The West Coast Mill / 116 - 118 East 7th St. Cor. Griffin & Alhambra / Tompkins & Company, Proprietors, Los Angeles, Cal." The bottom left informs that a catalog of seeds and stock will be sent on request. The back has a red, 1 cent stamp printed in the top right corner. The postmark is for 9 February 1914 from Los Angeles, California at 6 p.m. Part of the postmark is an advertisement for the World's Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco in 1915.
There is a crease on the top and abrasion damage on all sides front and back. This object is in good condition overall.
