Description
A postcard in color, "1515 Half-way House Wilson Trail, So. California," postmarked February 1907. The colored photographic image shows a small dilapidated wooden cabin with a steeply pitched, two-gabled roof in the forest of the San Gabriel Mountains. Several pack mules and perhaps a horse or two are near the structure, which is presumably the one built by Benjamin D. Wilson decades before. The used postcard has no message, but an address, stamp, postmark, and cancellation. With some soiling, edge browning and abrasions, the overall condition is good.
