Description

A postcard of an architectural drawing of a proposed Los Angeles church designed by Jeffery, Van Trees and Millar, Inc., ca. 1910s. The view shows the Gothic Revival-style building with a squared belfry and steeply-pitched roof as major details, amidst a scene with an open-air car, a woman and child walking down the street and other elements. The firm name is in cursive letters in the street. On the reverse is the same information, the date of ca. 1910, and "James Cheeswright [sic] House" all in pencil. The Cheesewright home is at 490 S. Arroyo Avenue in Pasadena, but this church was in an unidentified location. With small stains and light soiling, the condition is good overall.
