Description
A postcard of Rubio Canyon waterfall, San Gabriel Mountains, published by Edward H. Mitchell, San Francisco, postmarked 12 May 1908. The view shows the falls cascading over granite outcroppings into a pool. From the middle left to the upper right, a rustic wood staircase climbs up one side of the falls and crosses it to the other side. A message refers to a visit there by the sender in the summer of 1907. With browning, very light soiling and moderate edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
