Description
A postmortem photograph of Elizabeth Olive Mary Fraser, January 1905. The image shows Fraser lying in a bed with a sheet pulled up to mid-torso, her long braided hair lying on her torso, and a floral arrangement placed about her head. There is a brass filigreed headboard to the bed and the room is papered. An angled portion of the ceiling and a description in a photo from the same accession indicates an upstairs bedroom in a Coronado, California home where Fraser was seeking convalescence from an illness when she died on 29 January 1905. With light browning, but little other wear, the condition is good.
