Description
A prescription for whisky in Los Angeles, California, 18 July 1928. This is a one-time prescription for alcohol. After passing the Volstead Act, the production and sell of alcohol became illegal, however, it could still be obtained as medicine to treat asthma, diabetes other illnesses. The left side is perforated indicating this was part of a prescription pad. With tears, discoloration, and hole, the object is in fair overall condition.
