A press photo, "Chug Wilson Thrown From Broken Box," R. R. Doubleday, May 1927. The image shows rider Wilson landing on his back in a large dirt or grass area after being thrown from the horse, which is is airborne over the rider. In the background is a large grandstand, which is largely filled with spectators. The caption and photographer's copyright are at the bottom left. Typed on the reverse is a description of the forthcoming rodeo, held at the American Legion Speedway on Alhambra Boulevard in El Sereno. There is an owner's stamp and other markings. With browning, soiling and some stains, the condition is fair.
