Description

A press photo, damaged rail bridge after rainstorm, Los Angeles, 6 April 1926. The image was used in the Los Angeles Examiner, 6 April 1926. A view of the bridge from the ground shows it covered in silt and debris. The bridge collapsed and supports have been washed away. The rail is sagging to the ground. At the left is a wooden structure held up with pilings. Four men stand in the background, at center, looking on at the damaged bridge. There is a typed description pasted on the reverse. The image is in good condition with moderate warping and minor fading.
