Description
A press photo, monoplane mail carrier, Los Angeles, 11 March 1926. The airplane is on the air strip. It was built in San Diego for the Pacific Air Transport Company. The aircraft and six others were contracted to carry postal mail from Los Angeles to Seattle. It could travel up to a speed of one hundred miles per hour and had two cockpits. There is a typed description pasted to the back. The photograph has discoloration, loses to its top left and bottom right corners. It is generally in fair condition.
