Description
A press photo of a crash involving two ambulances, Los Angeles, 12 September 1932. The collision occurred on a downtown street, with one of the vehicles apparently overturned and the other with a crushed front end resting next to a light pole. One of the latters' doors, which came loose, has the name of the city's receiving hospital on it. A pasted-down caption noted the accident happened at Broadway and 5th and that a doctor in one of the vehicles and a female pedestrian were killed, while "scores of other pedestrians were periled." With minor soiling, warping, creases and abrasions, the condition is good overall.
