Description

A press photo of a woman at a "'bathers parade," Los Angeles, 1920s. The woman wears a costume with thin shoulder straps and a ruffled skirt, standing with her left foot on the running board of an open car, on which another entrant sits. She holds a black umbrella in her right hand and over her left shoulder. The scene is on a commercial street. Tape is on all sides of the reverse and there are many stamps and labels, including one that reads "Los Angeles / Bathers Parade." With a loss to the lower left corner, possible craquelure of the emulsion or pest damage, creases and abrasions, the condition is poor overall.
