Description
A press photo of airplane wreckage aboard a dock near Point Vicente, Palos Verdes, 9 January 1930. The mangled aircraft lies in a heap on the dock with a few men standing to the left. A pasted-down caption on the reverse noted that the crash involving two planes killed "ten motion picture men" a week prior and the wreckage was taken from the sea with a week of work required to bring it to the surface. With warping and light soiling and rubbing, the overall condition is good.
