Description
A press photo of firefighters counducting a practice safety net demonstration, Los Angeles Coliseum, Associated Press, 10 December 1928. The image shows two fire trucks with ladders fully extending and meeting at a point. From there several personnel are jumping into a net held by about a dozen firefighters just inside the track on the infield. In the background are some of the empty seats and part of the arched entrance to the stadium. A pasted-down caption explains that the session was in advance of a football game. With some minor warping, soiling and abrasions on the edges, the overall condition is good.
