Description
A press photo of Los Angeles City Hall, 6 June 1928. The majority of the newly-completed structure, built on the site of the Temple Block, focused on its 28-story central tower, is in view with some of the eastern side of downtown visible to the sides. A pasted-down caption on the reverse gives details about the $10 million complex, including the "Lindbergh beacon" to guide aviators and which was to be ceremonially turned on by President Coolidge. With small corner losses, creases, light soiling and edge abrasions, the overall condition is good.
