Description
A press photo of part of the stands at the Los Angeles Coliseum for the first football game between the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles, 28 September 1929. The image shows the Trojan rooting section showing an image of a bear to refer to the opponent's nickname of Bruins. Part of the field and some trees and tops of buildings at the north end of the venue are in view. A typed caption is pasted down on the reverse. With warping, a loss on the edge and along the top, not affecting the photo and soiling, the condition is fair overall.
