Description
A press photo of the new Santa Catalina Island casino, Keystone, Los Angeles, 24 May 1929. The image is taken from across Avalon Harbor, perhaps at the Wrigley family's Mt. Ada residence, and takes in the eastern side of circular-shaped casino, including its upper-level ballroom and the lower-floor theater. Also of note is a pier at Descanso Bay behind the structure, as well as some boats in the harbor. A pasted-down caption on the reverse gives more information and there is a credit-reminder stamp, as well, from the Associated Press. With some light soiling and edge rubbing, the condition is good.
