Description
A press photo of the Rocheville wing, Los Angeles, 15 November 1930. H.D. Rocheville, an airplane engineer, demonstrates his design of an airplane wing that can change shapes in mid air. The pilot has control over the adjustable ribs to configure the wing to the desired speed of the plaine. Rocheville is depicted on the left holding a model of the wing over an actual airplane that has tested the wing in flight. There is a typed description on the reverse. The item is in good condition with minor fading and warping.
