Description
A press photograph from "The Pilgrimage Play," Eyre Powell Press Service, Los Angeles, 27 July 1929. The image shows the cast in a scene in which Christ is washing the feet of Peter, while the other disciplies sit at the long table for the Last Supper. Behind the actors is a rock building with an open window in it. A lengthy typed caption on the reverse explains the play and four photographed scenes, of which this is the first. The actor playing Jesus was Ian McLaren and Harrison King was Peter. With soiling, some staining on the reverse, warping, corner creases and abrasions, the overall condition is good.
