Description
A press photograph of a Los Angeles Fire Department fireboat, Los Angeles Harbor, 6 February 1929. The view shows the boat in the water with many hoses spraying water in various directions as a demonstration. A typed, pasted-down caption discusses the capacity of the new boat "said to be the world's most powerful" and that "it was designed by Fire Chief R.J. Scott." With some pencil markings and stamps, as well as missing corner pieces, an edge tear, soiling and browning, the condition is fair.
