Description

A press photograph of a projectionist and usher in the projection room at the United Artists Theatre, Henry Wenger, Los Angeles, 24 April 1928. The projectionist wears rolled-up sleeves, dark vest and trousers, white striped shirt and dark tie with his right hand on the projector. The woman, in a light-colored check patterned dress with dark detailing stands at the right. A pencil inscription on the reverse notes that the chief operator was explaining "to one of the pretty usherettes" how the machine worked. There are the photographer's stamp and a datge stamp, as well as a bar code. With light soiling and corner creasing, the overall condition is good.
