Description
A press photograph of aircraft at the terminal of United Airport, Burbank, California, 19 July 1930. The view shows two men in white coveralls standing near two U.S. mail planes parked on the tarmac in front of the Spanish Colonial Revival building, with a tiled roof , covered balcony and banks of windows. The airport name is on the tarmac near the craft. A pasted-down typed caption describes the airport (later Burbank Airport and now Bob Hope Airport), the terminal and the planes. There is a N.E.A. date stamp and other pencil markings. With very minimal soiling and abrasions, the condition is good.
