Description
A press photograph of an amphibian sesquiplane arriving at Los Angeles, 2 November 1928. The plane is taxiing on the ground at the field of Western Air Express and a caption pasted down on the reverse describes the plane, identifies the pilot as a vice-president of Western Air Express and notes that a passenger was famed pilot Art Goebel. It also states the plane was to be used on a passenger route between Los Angeles and Santa Catalina Island. There are stamps and pencil inscriptions on the reverse, as well. With creases and soiling, the condition is good.
