Description
A press photograph of bridge construction, near Los Angeles, 25 October 1926. The image shows workers with the steep span in what appears to be a rural area. A pasted-down caption indicated that the bridge on "one of the main travel arteries out of Los Angeles" involved a new technique of moving the old bridge on trails while the new bridge was built adjacent. With small missing sections at three corners, light soiling, markings and creases, the overall condition is fair.
