A press photograph of C.C. Julian, Keystone Photo Service, Los Angeles, date stamped 16 August 1927. The portrait shows the oil promoter in a head-and-shoulders view, wearing a gray striped suit, white shirt and light tie with a tie pin. His name, the studio stamp and the press firm stamp and date are on the reverse. Julian's namesake oil company was involved in a massive stock fraud operation at the time. With slight warping, a few small stains and soiling, as well as touching up for publication, the condition is fair to good.
