Description
A press photograph of mass murderer Gordon Northcott, Los Angeles, 4 December 1928. The International Newsreel image shows Northcott in jail clothing sitting at a table and playing cards. The caption pasted down on the reverse provides a fortune-telling aspect to the photo and attributes a quote to the jailed man. There is also a International Newsreel stamp and what seems to be a later stamp. Northcott was convicted and executed for the murder of several boys, one very close to the Homestead and others on a chicken farm near Riverside. The recent film "The Changeling" covers some of the events. With some soiling and a few creases, the overall condition is good.
