Description
A press photograph of Mayor George E. Cryer with the Spirit of Los Angeles airplane, Los Angeles, printed 11 April 1928. The photograph was taken to commemorate the new airplane, a sister ship to the new Lindbergh plane, on its initial flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Cryer stands next to the plane manufactured by the Mutual Aircraft Corporation. The name of the plane and the seal of Los Angeles is seen on the nose. With minor warping, the object is in good condition overall.
