A press photograph of the welcoming ceremony to Charles Lindbergh after his famed trans-Atlantic flight, Coliseum, Los Angeles, 22 September 1927. The ceremony is at the center of the field, which is almost entirely in view with about half or more of the spectators in the packed bleachers visible. The famed peristyle entrance, decorated with bunting, is at the opposite end. A detached caption gives information about the image. With small losses at two corners, creases and soiling, the condition is good.
