Description
"A Pretty Lake Scene (Wilson's Lake, El Molino, Pasadena)," probably by Frederick H. Maude, ca. 1890s. The view is of the natural lake that is now in Lacy Park in San Marino, but was at one time adjacent to Wilson's home, Lake Vineyard. The scene is rustic with plant material, but evidently no buildings discernible. There are pencil and typewritten inscriptions on the sleeve, which is in two pieces and in very poor shape. The negative, however, appears to be in good condition.
