Description
A printing block, image of Los Angeles High School, ca. 1890. A metal etched panel mounted on a square wooden block with small nails. The etched image depicts the Los Angeles High School building in detail, clock tower, clock, classical design, arched doorways, tiered windows, students on bicycles. Along the bottom edge is an etched inscription identifying the school name and location. The block used for letterpress printing is generally in good condition with some ink marks from use.
