Description

A program card for the Los Angeles Grand Opera House, ca. 1890s. The card is for Christmas Day and the week following and a program headlined by Irish comedian Joseph Murphy and two of his plays. There isn't a year on the item, but Murphy performed these plays in the later 1880s and into the 1890s. A photograph of the comedian with his facsimile signature is on the reverse. With many small stains, soiling and rubbing, the overall condition is fair.
