Description
A program for a dinner given in honor of President William Howard Taft by the citizens of Los Angeles, Monday, 16 October 1911, 8:30 pm at Hotel Alexandria. The program consists of two folios inside a cover, bound with a blue cloth ribbon on the left side. The pamphlet is housed within a tri-fold paper folder, with the Hotel Alexandria name embossed. The program features the location, time and event information on the front cover with an embossed, stamped, gold seal for the City of Los Angeles. Inside is the menu, wine and spirits list, program of speeches and recognition for the planning committee. The items are generally in good condition with moderate yellowing, foxing and abrasion.
