Description

A program for the Memorial Day Observance. Los Angeles, CA., 30 May 1924 A single, double sided page. This is the Official Program for the Memorial Day observance at the Coliseum in 1924. There is an American Flag to the top right and a veteran metal for the Army in the top left. Below this is a program from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The back of the page has a list of songs, presumably for the community singing portion of the program. These songs are "America," "Battle Hymn of the Republic," "America, the Beautiful," "The Battle-cry of Freedom," "Columbia the Gem of the Ocean," and "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder." There is some yellow and abrasion damage, but otherwise in good condition.
