A program for "The Mission Play," 1928. The front cover has an illustration of the cream colored Mission San Gabriel, the play's title in red, and an arch in the foreground which is covered in a tangle of brown vines dotted with purple grapes and green leaves. The program contains an article about the Mission Playhouse, summaries regarding the play's content, and poems written by author John Steven McGroarty. Black and white photographs of the Mission San Gabriel, the playhouse, and scenes from the production are also shown throughout the program. An inscription on the first page of the program reads: "Property of Juan and Juanita Zorraquinos." There was a nonprofessional attempt to repair the object with adhesive tape, and a sheet of paper has also been adhered to the back side of the object. With minor abrasions/rubbing, minor tears, flaking, minor stains, minor discoloration, and brittleness, the object is in fair to poor condition overall.
