Description
A quartet of female dancers from the Mission Play, ca. 1920s. The group is in costume and stands in front of a white picket fence with a trellis and a building in the background, presumably at the playhouse site in San Gabriel. Second to the right is Juanita Zorraquinos, principal dancer and choreographer with husband Juan and to her right is her sister Lupe Vigare. With album paper residue, slight warping, and light soiling, the condition is good.
