Description
A real estate contract between an unknown party and N.T. Edwards. 24 October 1916. The contract states that the unknown party is selling his equity in lot 3, tract 2489 of the North Whittier Heights subdivision to N.T. Edwards. In exchange, N.T. Edwards will be assuming the deferred payment of $2,962.80 along with the interest owed; the taxes from the year of 1916-1917 and subsequent years; and water expenses. N.T. Edwards will also take over the 6 shares of stock that the property has been assigned via the North Whittier Heights Citrus Association. The contract states that C.S. McMillan's lease for growing potatoes between the tree rows of the property wil remain in place and that he will continue to act as caretaker until the crop is matured. With moisture damage, a minor tear, minor wear, a crease, and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
